… and have chosen to tackle racial injustice head-on for the sake of our communities in whatever area they feel called to work within.
Baobab believes in the centring of our communities to bring about powerful change as we work together within wider movements to fight the oppressive structures that impact us the most.
The Baobab Community Fund will operate as an oasis of financial self-empowerment for By-And-For groups and individuals by providing multi-year funding. The fund has been gathered with the vision of providing our communities with the economic resources we need to carry out our important collective work.
Baobab is dedicated to aiding this vision by tackling and breaking down the histories of economic injustice we have historically faced as Black and Global Majority people by providing financial support.
