STAGE 1

applications open: friday, 29th nov 2024 @ 12:00PM (GMT)

1. create or sign in to your BAOBAB ‘smart simple’ account

2. complete and submit your fund alignment check within smart simple

If you do not meet the fund alignment requirements you will not be able to submit an application but we would love to invite you to become a Radical Friend!

4. complete and submit a STAGE ONE APPLICATION [insert pdf]

Applications close Monday, 3rd feb 2025 @ 11:59PM (GMT)

END OF STAGE 1

If you are not invited to a Stage 2 Zoom call, this means your application has not progressed forward.

We understand the disappointment in not being able to fund all aligned applications we receive.

We would still love to welcome you into the community by becoming a Baobab Member!

STAGE 2

stage 1 decision outcomes shared: monday, 17th march 2025

1. shortlisted applicants will be invited to a virtual conversation with peer reviewers & the baobab team

Virtual Conversations start Tuesday, 25th March 2025

2. conversation questions sent to shortlisted candidates ahead of conversations along with any requests for accessibility ACCOMMODATIONS

3. shortlisted applicants have their conversations

Conversations end on Friday, 11th of April 2025.

END OF STAGE 2

Successful shortlisted candidates will be notified by Friday, 16th May 2025.

All shortlisted candidates will be offered monetary compensation for their time and an offer to give feedback on the process.
